An Introduction to CPA Marketing

Sharing is caring!

Affiliate marketing takes quite a few different forms, but one of the easiest ways to start making commissions, especially when you are starting out, is through the CPA model. CPA stands for cost per action and it’s a system where you get paid after someone completes a pre specified action.

This means that instead of having to make a purchase for you to get a commission, your visitors only have to enter their details such as email, telephone number, zip code, or address. It is also sometimes referred to as CPL (cost per lead), and you can earn anything from a couple of dollars to $25 per lead depending on the niche that you are operating in.

The easiest way to get started as a CPA marketer is to register at one of the large networks where you will find hundreds of different offers to promote. Some of the most popular ones that are worth joining include:

  • MaxBounty
  • Peerfly
  • and CPALead

In this video I talk about how to get accepted to promote the offers that you will find on these networks, how they pay you, and some quick advice about how to promote CPA offers.

It’s a good idea to have your own website wet up before you apply to join a network, and you need to tell the affiliate manager how you intend to go about promoting the offers, but other than that CPA is a great way to get started.
